Superhero Detective Work

The children came into school to find a big problem. All the furniture had been knocked over and the books had all gone from the book corner. The children decided that Spiderman must have been involved and must have accidentally knocked over the furniture whilst trying to catch a baddie. The children received a video message from Spiderman explaining that he had only been trying to help and asking Reception to help him to find the criminal. Reception decided that they needed to take everyone’s finger prints to check to see who had been involved. The finger print of the criminal was found on the bookshelf. It turned out to be Mrs Harrison. Mrs Harrison then gave the children a footprint that the cleaner had found and explained she had only been locking up the school. The children measured everyone’s footprints to find the matching culprit- Mr Lancashire. Mr Lancashire explained that he only wanted to read the books as he had no books of his own. The children taught Mr Lancashire about the school and Earlsdon library and helped him to have access to lots of different stories which they decided he might enjoy.
