Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate our family assembly. The children loved showcasing their learning to you and the school and we were so proud of how much they have grown in confidence in speaking aloud. Two highlights of the assembly have to be the medieval dance and the number bonds song.
Our P.E. days are Monday and Friday. We strongly suggest that children keep their P.E. kit in school to avoid forgetting it. We will then remind children to take their P.E. kits home each half-term holiday for washing.
Reading books will be sent home daily. All children should try and read at home at least three times per week – please could you record this in their reading diary. It is important that reading books are in school every day so that we can hear the children read and change their books when necessary. The high-frequency purse words will continue to be changed on a regular basis. Once your child has learned to read their purse words they will concentrate on learning to spell them accurately.
