The Headteacher’s Introduction

Dear Parents and Carers

I would like to wish you a very warm welcome to Hearsall Community Academy. Hearsall is a community primary school and part of the Inspire Education Trust family of schools. The other three schools in our trust are Clifford Bridge Academy, Walsgrave CE Academy and Whittle Academy. The school is housed in a beautiful Edwardian Grade 2 listed building and there has been a school on our site for over one hundred years.

Hearsall is a thriving, happy school where everyone is valued and respected. We have a dedicated, enthusiastic and committed team of people. They consistently work hard to give the very best education, both academically and socially, to our children. We believe that our staff make a real difference, and that every child matters.

A feeling of warmth, friendliness and mutual respect underpins all we do at Hearsall Community Academy. We have high expectations of pupils, in their work and in the way they deal with others. Simply put, we expect children to work to the best of their ability, as well as behave in a courteous and sensible manner at all times.

Parents and carers play a very important part of school life and we value our partnership with our community. We all share responsibility for the children’s education and we work closely together in their best interests. We encourage parents to become involved in all aspects of school life, so that, as partners, we can promote high standards of learning, behaviour and attitudes to enable every child to reach their full potential.

Hearsall recognises an inspiring, creative curriculum and the benefits of using ICT in all aspects of learning, ensures we equip our pupils for all the challenges that face our children in this fast moving modern world.

This is a wonderful school with talented staff, supported governors and parents and simply amazing children – visits are always welcomed and I look forward to meeting you!
